Once a connection to Emote has been established, go to the Devices View (the button labeled 9K in
the menu bar) and locate the H9000 Firmware version at the bottom let corner of the page. Click on
“Updates” and you will be presented with a list of available rmware updates to choose from. Select a
rmware version and click the “Install” button; a pop-up message will conrm that you are updating
your H9000’s rmware. The rst progress bar will indicate that the rmware update le is being
downloaded and sent to the H9000. The second progress bar will indicate that the rmware is being
installed on the H9000 (this will also be reected on the front panel.) Once the rmware update has
been successfully installed, you will be prompted to restart your H9000, which will complete the
update process.
Note
Update instructions for rmware versions 1.3 and below are detailed in the previous version of
the H9000 User Manual.
2.1.11.2. Firmware Downgrade
In the event that you need to downgrade your H9000’s rmware, the process is the same as
upgrading using either Emote or the oine USB installer. Only one version of each public beta or
production rmware version will be available to choose from. If for any reason you need a specic
rmware version that is not available when upgrading/downgrading, please contact
support@eventide.com and we will provide you with the correct rmware version to install via the
oine USB updater.
Note
As a precaution against data corruption which could aect system startup, performing a rmware
update will clear the current state of your H9000. It is advised to save your current session
before updating the H9000’s rmware.
