The network button’s LED will ash for about two minutes, then be dim for a few seconds, then
brighten. At this time a wireless access point will have been created. The network name for this
access point is your H9000R’s serial number.
Connect to this ad-hoc network on the computer that is running Emote. At this point the
H9000R should appear as a device in Emote’s browser window. Click on the device in Emote’s
browser to connect.
Warning
Turn o the access point ater you are nished using it. Otherwise it may interfere with Emote’s
connectivity.
2.2.3. Switching Networks
Note
Switching networks from Emote requires a network handshake between the Emote sotware
client and the physical H9000R device. This is done in order to prevent accidental
disconnections, as well as any potential malicious H9000R hijacking.
The Network eld under the Network tab in Setup will be greyed out. Click the eld to bring up
onscreen instructions on how to unlock it. Click “OK” in the resulting dialog box.
