5. STARTUP
Carry out the following operations referring to the §
specific sections.
1. Make sure that the barrier B680H is locked and not
operating in manual mode.
2. Switch on power to the system. The board lights
up and the display then comes on:
- firmware version (2 digits separated by a point).

SO flashing if setup is requested, or the automa-
tion status.

If two barriers are installed in a Primary-Secondary con-
figuration, the Secondary barrier has to be configured
before you start to set up the Primary barrier (see § 8.1).
3. Check the status of the LEDs, with the board pow-
ered and closed, some LEDs will be on, others will
be off (refer to 24)
4. Memorise the radio controls of the system (see
relative instructions).
5. Program the E680S without carrying out the set-
up. In order for the barrier to work properly, set
function
cF according to the length of the beam.
6. Check the direction of movement.
7. Carry out the setup procedure.
8. If you use an XBAT 24 battery, connect the battery
after having carried out the setup. Connect it
with the power supply disconnected.
