Sequence of configuration entries
Caution
The number of inputs/outputs must correspond to the
equipment fitted on the CP system. You are not permitted
to configure additional inputs and outputs as a later re-
serve.
DP identifier
Please note
DP identifier 049 or 16DX (standard mode) is used for the
examples.
The configuration data must be known or ascertained for
each bus slave. There are two possibilities of configuring the
CP system:
– Standard mode
– Compact mode
The CP system recognises automatically in which mode you
wish to operate the CP system, on the basis ofthe DP ident-
ifier sent by the master .
Caution
Configure a CP system only in one of these two ways:
– standard mode (max. 4 x 049)
– compact mode (sum identifiers)
The identifiers must not be mixed.
