6 Installation of FLUXUS F808
6.1 Location
• Select the measuring point according to the recommendations in chapter 3 and 5.
• Select the location of the transmitter within the cable range of the measuring point.
The ambient temperature at the location has to be within the operating temperature range of the transmitter and the trans-
ducers (see Technical specification).
If the measuring point is within an explosive atmosphere, the danger zone and gases that may be present have to be de-
termined. The transducers and the transmitter have to be appropriate for these conditions.
6.2 Opening and closing the housing
The transmitter has 2 set screws which have to be unscrewed before the housing can be opened. After the installation of
the transmitter, make sure that the housing is closed correctly and that the set screws are tightened (see Fig. 6.1).
6.3 Installation
6.3.1 Wall installation
• Fix the housing to the instrument mounting plate (2) (see Fig. 6.2).
• Fix the transmitter to the wall.

SIFLUXUS_808_FM,SIFLUXUS_808_F2 and SIFLUXUS_1N62).
