Maintenance Checklist
Review the following to ensure that the system is correctly cleaned and reassembled.
Nebulizer
 The nebulizer is free of damage and clogs.
 The nebulizer gas line is firmly seated on the mount.
 The nebulizer is correctly inserted into nebulizer holder and the nebulizer holder is flush
with the nebulizer mount.
Heater Assembly and Spray Chamber
 The spray chamber is seated correctly in the heater assembly.
 The injector holder is installed in the heater cap assembly pointing away from the spray
chamber
installed properly.
 The heater cap assembly is in the locked position when connected to the heater assembly.
Injector
 While applying gentle downward pressure on the injector so that it remains at its lowest
position, thread the nut of the injector cap clockwise to lock the injector in place. Ensure
that THIS SIDE OUT can be seen on the injector holder.
IMPORTANT The injector must be in the lowest position to avoid damage during
operation.
Cones
 Cones are clean and properly installed.
• The skimmer/reducer assembly is installed fully (hand tight).
• The sampler cone is flush with the interface.
