Before cleaning this product, ensure to switch off the product and also the switchboard(branch
circuit). Access to a live machine interior can cause electric shocks.
Do not unplug or replug the machine while it is switched on. Unplugging a live connector can deform
the plug and cause fire.
When unplugging the machine, grasp the plug instead of the cord. Pulling on a cord can damage the
cord and cause fire or electric shocks.
Always switch off and unplug the machine when it is not used over weekends or long holidays.
Always switch off the machine and the switchboard(branch circuit) when it is not used over
weekends or long holidays.
Once a month, unplug the machine and check the power cord for the following:
•The power cord is plugged firmly into a receptacle.
•The plug is not excessively heated, rusted, or bent.
•The plug and receptacle are free of dust.
•The cord is not cracked or frayed.
If you notice any unusual conditions, contact your Fuji Xerox Customer Support Centre.
