Two-sided copying feature
To reduce the volume of copy paper used, this product has a two-sided copying feature. You can copy two
single-sided originals on both sides of a sheet of paper. You can also make single-sided copies. See
"Printing on Both Sides of the Paper (P.5-21), Specifying 2-Sided Copies (P.6-5)" of this guide for details.
Power saver mode 1 feature
This product has a power-saving feature, which switches the machine to the power saver mode 1
automatically if the machine is on and not operated for a certain period of time. In this mode the machine
lowers the fuser temperature and saves the power consumption. The default power saver mode 1 start time
is set at 5 minutes. The recovery time from power saver mode 1 is about 30 seconds. See "Power Saver
Modes (P.2-10)" of this guide for details.
Power saver mode 2 feature
This product has a power-saving feature, which turns the machine off automatically if it is on and not
operated a certain period of time. The default power saver mode 2 time is set at 6 minutes after it has been
switched to power saver mode 1. See "Power Saver Modes (P.2-10)" of this guide for details.
• For environmental protection and efficient use of resources, returned print cartridges are reused as parts,
recycled materials, or reused for energy generation.
• Proper disposal of unwanted drum and toner cartridges is required. Drum and toner cartridge containers
should not be opened with force and must be returned to our Customer Support Center.
• To recover scarce resources, rechargeable batteries used in the returned machines are recycled as materials
or reused for energy generation.
