Observe the sections in t he manual marked with the symbol on the left.
When connecting and disconnecting cables, observe the relevant
notes in this operating ma nual.
Read the information on the ambient conditions in the technical data given in the
"First-time setup" manual and the chapter "
Prep aring your notebook for use", Page 7
before preparing your notebook for use and switching it o n for the first time.
When cleaning the device, please observe the relevant n otes in the
section "
Cleaning the notebook", Page 6.
Pay attention to the additional safety notes for devices with radio
components provided in the "Safety" m anu al.

Switch the notebook off when it is not in use. Switch off external, connected devices if you
are not using them. If you use the energy saving fun ctions, the notebook uses less energy.
You w ill then be able to work for longer before having to r echa rge the battery.
Energy efficiency is increased and the enviro nmental impact is reduced.
