Restoring the operating system, drivers, manuals
and special software
We strongly recommend that, as soon as possible after purchasing your equipment, you create
a backup copy on DVD of the pre-installed operating system in its delivery confi guration.
If you have forgott en an op erating system password which ha s already been assigned,
without previously having saved the operating system, recreation of the necessary data
media and return to the factory defau lt setup will no longer be possible.

Time and date are incorrect. ► With the B IOS -Setup -Ut ility, you can s et the
date and time in the main menu.
If the date and time are repeatedly incorrect when you switch on the no tebook,
the built-in battery that supplies the internal clock h as failed.
