1-5-2. INDOOR UNIT AUTOMATIC ADDRESS SETTING
Caution
● The Indoor Unit Automatic Address Setting function can be used for a maximum of 64
indoor units installed within the same refrigerant system. However, a maximum of 45
indoor units can be installed within the same refrigerant system.
● The Indoor Unit Automatic Address Setting function cannot be used for indoor units being
connected to other refrigerant systems via the network.
(Refer to “4-3. TRANSMISSION LINE" in Chapter 6. "SYSTEM DESIGN".)
● When setting addresses automatically for indoor units, be sure to position “IU AD x10”
(SW6), “IU AD x1” (SW7), “REF AD x10” (SW8) and “REF AD x1” (SW9) at 0 (Factory
setting).
● When an indoor unit address is set up, a refrigerant circuit address is also set up at the
same time. (The refrigerant circuit address of an outdoor unit being connected within the
same refrigerant system is set up.)
1) After verifying that the system is operating normally, press the MODE/EXIT button (SW107)
once.
