How to Replace the Inserts
Remove the Inserts
Loosen the screws (circled in red) with a hex wrench (HEX-01) and remove the Lower Insert
or Upper Insert as shown below.
Replace the insert with the appropriate size for the cladding or coating diameter of the optical
fiber.
After replacing the inserts, change or edit the cleave mode if necessary.
Select the appropriate insert by referring to the Selection Guide.

¾ Some inserts have different diameter grooves on both sides.
Applicable fiber diameters would be different from each other in this case.
When you replace the insert,
confirm that the mark matches the cleaved fiber.
