Fiber Position Adjustment
Fiber Position Confirmation
When the cleave angle and shape are unstable, there is possibly a height misalignment
between the left and right clamps. In this case, use the Fiber Height Checking Mirror (CM-
CT115) to find the height difference between the left and right sides.
Normally, there is not much difference between the cleaving diameter and coating, but any
special coating diameter or special cleaving diameter could cause a misalignment between the
left and right sides.
To inspect the fiber position:
1. Remove the scale base from the body.
2. Select [Fiber Position Confirmation] in the [Maintenance Menu].
3. Select the cleave mode and press “Start” and press icon to start.
