What to do if my Fujitsu CT114 is unable to cleave?

  If you are unable to cleave with your Fujitsu Measuring Instruments, it could be due to several reasons: * The blade may not be contacting the fiber. Ensure the cleaver blade contacts the fiber during cleaving. If it doesn't, use the [Blade Adjustment] function in the [Maintenance menu]. * The fiber tension may be too low. Verify that the fiber tension is appropriate for the fiber diameter. * There might be dust or dirt on the insert and/or cleaver blade. Clean them well, referring to the [Daily Maintenance] and [Loading Fiber into the Cleaver] section. * The cleaver blade could be worn out. Try executing [Blade Position Change] in the [Maintenance Menu]. If all positions are used, execute [Blade Replacement] in the [Maintenance Menu].

Clean them according to the [Daily Maintenance] and [Loading Fiber into the Cleaver] section. * The Cleave Tension might be improper. Adjust it by editing the [Tension Setting]. * The cleaver blade may be worn out. You can execute [Blade Position Change] in the [Maintenance Menu]. If all positions are used, execute [Blade Replacement]. * The backstop might be improperly positioned.
