Set Up the Cleaver
Using the Fiber Holder Adapter
The fiber holder functions become available when the Fiber Holder Adapter is attached to
the device.
Even with a fiber holder in place, the cleaver uses only the left and right clamps to apply
tension. This means the fiber holder must remain open until the cleave is finished
Options when using the Fiber Holder Adapter
x Adjust the position of the positioning block depending on the fiber holder being used.
x Fiber Holder Management is only available when using FH110 series fiber holders.
Set the location of the positioning block
The location of the positioning block is
different depending on the fiber holder being
used. For FH-100 fiber holders, it should be
adjusted to the back of the adjustment slot,
and for FH110 fiber holders, it should be
placed at the front of the slot.
