C.3.4 BINARY COUNTER, FROZEN COUNTER
None of the above counters can be cleared with the Freeze/Clear (function code 9) operation. Instead, the control relay out-
put block points can be used to clear groups of counters. There is only one copy of each counter, so clearing a counter from
other serial ports or MMI causes the corresponding DNP counter point to be cleared and vice-versa. However, note that
counters 2 to 5 cannot be cleared using DNP protocol. The Breaker Health can be set via MMI or from other serial ports
using GE_MODEM, MODBUS or ASCII protocols.
