Digital Connector CD02 with connection desig-
nations
The interface between the OptiStar CG06 Automatic gun control unit and
the PLC control unit is given by the Digital Connector CD02. All parallel
interface signals of up to 12 devices are fed connection-friendly on plugs.
The exact plug assignment for the connection to the PLC is evident in the
following illustration:

CAN bus
The OptiStar gun control unit, fitted with a CAN bus interface, is a simple
CANopen Slave. It operates in a network with a central control unit (Mas-
ter). Communication takes place exclusively between the Master and the
Slaves.
