Symptoms Cause of Trouble & Troubleshooting
Lamination Laminating Roller is not 1. If safety switch at roller cover is opened. -> Close the roller cover safety switch.
Area operated. 2. This could be caused by motor for laminating roller or chain is defective.
-> Contact to a supplier.
3. Fuse blows -> Replace it with 250V/12.5A that is packed with machine.
If Laminating roller is not heat up
1. Temp setting is not processed on Control Panel. -> Contact to a supplier.
or temp. is not increased 2. Power supply for laminating roller is defective. -> Contact to a supplier.
from a certain one. 3. If temp. sensor is defective.
-> Remove foreign materials.
4. Foreign materials are between temp. sensor & roller.
-> Remove foreign materials.
5. If heater is defective. -> Contact to a supplier.
6. If THERMOSTAT is activated.
-> Cool down the product and restart.
The same trouble would be occurred, contact to a supplier.
Adhesion is not good 1. Adhesion of lamination is proportional to the below conditions.
However, a proper adjustment will be required for laminated results.
-> Thicker substrates requires higher setting temp. and higher pressure.
-> Faster laminating speed requires higher setting temp. and higher pressure.
2. Embossing lamination requires lower speed, higher setting temp. and higher pressure.
3. Black / Dark Colored prints requires lower speed and higher pressure.
Film is cut while lamination 1. In-line sub perforator is applied.
-> Thinner film makes film cut more easily.
2. Laminating Roller temp. is high.
-> Adjust laminating roller temp. to reduce its temp.
