9 TROUBLESHOOTING
Symptom Conrmation Items Cause Solution
The Y Position Alarm is
displayed after the power
is turned on. And this
occurred after the main
board was replaced.
For the CE6000-40/60:
The carriage hit the
left side plate after the
two push rollers are
detected.
The dip-switch of the
main board was setting
to the wrong setting.
Perform the NV-RAM
clear correctly, and
then set the dip-switch
correctly.
For the CE6000-120:
The carriage hit the
left side plate after the
three push rollers are
detected.
The number of push
rollers are three.
The sufx setting is
wrong.
The sufx setting is set
to the AMO.
The number of push
rollers are setting to the
four for the three push
rollers model.
Set the sufx to the
STD”.
And set the number of
push rollers settings to
the three.
The Y Position Alarm is
displayed during cutting.
The home sensor
function is setting
disabled.
The pen block hits the
left side plate, and then
it displays Y Position
Alarm.
Set the home sensor
function to Enabled.
How long was this plotter
used?
The Y motor is defective
if this plotter was used
long time.
Replace the Y motor.
The fourth push roller is not
detected for the CE6000-
120AMO. And this occurred
after the main board was
replaced.
Conrm the sufx setting
or the number of push
rollers.
The sufx setting
settings was setting to
wrong.
Set the sufx settings to
“AMO”.
