Bracket types: GH side-hung/end-hung bracket
GH plasterboard bracket
• Examine the make-up of the wall.
• GH plasterboard brackets can be used on plaster-
boards and other forms of lightweight walls. However,
a minimum wall thickness of 24 mm (1") is required.
• Mark the spots where the fittings are to be fitted.
Use laser equipment to determine height placement
so that the wall brackets are positioned horizontally.
• Drill four holes for the plasterboard bracket. Use the
plasterboard bracket as a template for drilling.
• GH plasterboard bracket is fitted directly on the wall
and fastened using e.g. four Fischer 5 x 65 S screws.
• Then place the GH wall bracket on the two threaded
rods and fasten with 10 mm (
3
/
8
") locking nuts.
• The clamp is led through the oval hole at the top of the
wall bracket and is fitted using a facet disc and locking
nut against the wall bracket.
• When the rails have been fitted to the brackets, tighten
the locking nut securely.
• Finish by fitting plastic covers onto bolts and nuts.
• Notice that the bracket may just be used for systems
with max. 200 kg lifting capasity!
