Combi-lock
CL3, double electrical
Comprises:
• two safety locks for fixed rail
• two safety locks for traverse rail
• one motor unit
The Double Combi-lock is used at the transition between
two room-covering rail systems to provide optimum safety
when the two rail systems are used together.
The function of the Double Combi-lock:
Engagement: Two tongues are inserted to link the traverse
rails with the fixed rail, and the safety locks open.
It is now possible to run the hoist between the room-cove-
ring systems.
Disengagement: The tongues that link the systems are
drawn back and the safety locks close.
The traverse rails are released and the safety locks prevent
the hoist from running out of the rail systems.
Safety locks must always be installed on fixed rail and on
traverse rails. The combination of these and the travelling
mechanism (electrical or manual) is collectively designated
the Double Combi-lock.
A. The transformer wires, 24V AC, are connected to the
PCB. Transformer: 110/240V AC - 24V AC.
B. Flexible installation of the Double Combi-lock is pos-
sible. The safety locks for fixed rail are supplied with
tongues and standard threaded spindles of 600 mm
(24") in length. The length of the threaded spindle must
be adapted to the specific installation. Longer threaded
spindles, up to 1000 mm (40") in length, can be sup-
plied. This makes it possible to install the safety locks
for fixed rail and the motor unit at a considerable
distance from each other if this is appropriate
for the installation in question.
C. The Combi-lock brackets are always supplied with the
safety locks for fixed rail and must always be used
together with standard ceiling brackets or any extended
ceiling brackets.
D. Hand control.
E. Ceiling bracket, use the bracket as a drill gauge. For
service and maintenance considerations it is best to use
at least 5 mm (

/
4
") spacers beneath both fittings for
permanent and parallel tracks above the Combi-Lock.
F. Mini rail.
G. The electrically activated Double Combi-lock is equip
-
ped with electric sensors. The sensors are connected
in parallel to the PCB with connectors (brown/brown
and blue/blue). The distance between the sensor and
the switch must be equal to the distance between the
two rails, max 1-1.5 mm
(

”). Note: The sensor
must never be adjusted so that it can collide with the
switch.
H. The traverse rails are Maxi or Jumbo rails which have
been reduced to the height of a Mini rail in the place
where the safety locks for the traverse rails are installed.
