Black In: The amount of pre-black to record on the tape before recording the first compiled
event. Default is 00:00:00:00.
Black Out: The amount of post-black to record on the tape after recording the last event in
a compiled pod. Default is 00:00:00:00.
Changing the Password
The password can be changed at any time from within the Configuration Manager. The only
requirement is that each password must be a minimum of one character and a maximum of 16
characters.
◆ Letters, numbers, and spaces are permitted.
◆ No special characters are allowed.
◆ The password is case sensitive.
To change the p assword, do the following:
1. Select File | Change Password. The following dialog box appears:
2. Enter a new password, then confirm it in the second box.
NOTE: The password displays as a series of asterisks on the screen for security purposes.
The password is stored in encrypted form in the system registry.
3. Click OK when finished.
Upon next launch, enter the new password to gain access.
