Does the
multimeter show a voltage between
+10 V and -10 V?
Yes
No
Connect the multimeter to the terminal block of the servo drive of
the axis to be inspected (use the circuit diagram of the machine tool).
The CMA-H (in the CC 61xx or
UEC 11x) functions correctly; it
is likely that the error is due to
the analog servo drive, cables,
motor, etc.
Switch off the machine and disconnect the nominal speed
value cable from the analog servo drive. Repeat the routine
with the servo drive disconnected.
Press EMERGENCY STOP, turn the feed-rate potentiometer
to minimum and switch on the power switch of the machine.
Do not acknowledge the Power interrupted message, but call the MP
list immediately. Write down and then increase the tolerance values for
movement and servo lag monitoring for the axis to be inspected:
MP1140.x : 10.0 [V]
MP1410.x and MP1420.x 30 [mm] each
MP1710.x and MP1720.x 300 [mm] each
Switch on the machine and set the position display to LAG.
Start reference run for the defective axis (e.g. with axis direction button).
Slowly turn up the feed-rate potentiometer and
observe the display on the multimeter.

Restore original values for movement and servo-lag monitoring.
Shut down the control and switch off the
power switch at the machine tool.
