21 – 354 HEIDENHAIN Service Manual iTNC 530 HSCI
Error: No spindle
movement!
A precondition is that the release conditions (e.g., door contacts) for the spindle movement are
fulfilled.
Flowchart
Battery box If you have a "battery box" (not a HEIDENHAIN product), you can check whether the analog servo
amplifier can be operated with it.
This battery box replaces the control and provides the analog servo amplifier with a nominal speed
value around ±10 V.
(The controller enabling at the servo amplifier must be available. --> If necessary, ask the
machine manufacturer!)
Does the
multimeter show a voltage between
+10 V and -10 V?
Yes
No
Connect the multimeter to the terminal block of the servo drive of the
spindle to be inspected (use the circuit diagram of the machine tool).
The CMA-H (in the CC 61xx or
UEC 11x) functions correctly;
it is likely that the error is due to
the analog servo drive, cables,
motor, etc.
Switch off the machine and disconnect the nominal speed
value cable from the analog servo drive. Repeat the routine.
Press EMERGENCY STOP, turn the spindle potentiometer to
minimum and switch on the power switch of the machine.
Switch on the machine and set the position display to LAG.
Slowly turn up the spindle potentiometer and
observe the display on the multimeter.
Does the
multimeter show a voltage between +10 V
and -10 V?
Yes
No
CMA-H (in CC 61xx or UEC 11x) or nominal speed value cable defective.
Analog spindle is not rotating
Shut down the control and switch off the
power switch at the machine tool.
