1. Turn off the power to the instrument and remove the test
leads.
2. Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the four screws from the
battery cover on the rear side of the instrument.
3. Remove the cable protruding from the battery holder.
4. Remove the upper panel.
5. Use tweezers or a similar tool to remove the lithium battery
from the lower panel.
