Installing the physical SVP into the rack
After the inner and outer rails are attached to the physical SVP, the SVP can be installed
in a rack.
Before you begin
Conrm the following:

The inner rails are attached to the SVP enclosure.
■
The outer rails are attached to the rack.
Procedure
1. Align the SVP enclosure inner rails with the front of the horizontal outer rails on the
rack.
2. Slide the SVP enclosure inner rails into the outer rails on the rack, keeping the
pressure even on both sides.
If necessary, press the locking tabs when inserting.
When the SVP enclosure is pushed completely into the rack, the locking tabs snap
into the locked position.
