3. Installation and wiring
3.1 Installation
Installation environment
The 2MLF-AV8A/AC8A modules have high reliability regardless of their installation
environment. The following factors ensure for system reliability and stability..
1. Environmental prerequisites
Avoid installing the module in places where it is subjected or exposed to:
a) Water leakage and dust
b) Continuous shocks or vibrations
c) Direct sunlight
d) Dew condensation due to rapid temperature change
e) Temperatures outside the range of 0 to 55C
2. Precautions during installing and wiring
a) Ensure that no external materials like wire scraps enter the upper part of the
PLC during drilling or wiring..
b) Ensure to install PLC in a location where it is easy for monitoring and use.
c) Ensure that PLC is not located on the same panel where high voltage
equipment is located.
d) Ensure that the distance from the walls of duct and external equipment is
50mm or more.
e) Ensure that the PLC is properly grounded to locations that have good ambient
noise immunity.
