8. Commissioning
8.1 Checks prior to operation
• Check the water pressure in the heating system
• Check the oil level in the oil tank with a dipstick
• Open shut-o valve in the heating ow and return
• Check fresh air supply to the heating system
• Check the settings for the operating modes
• Check the settings for the boiler control elements
• Check the oil supply to the burner (open the shut-o
slide valve in the oil line)
• Check the electrical power supply (switch on fuse, turn
the emergency switch to “On” or connect the plug)
8.2 Switching on
1. Turn on main switch (if tted).
2. Set blocking switch to “I”.
3. Set the basic program and temperature on the boiler
(chapter 5.4).
8.3 Commissioning
Danger of poisoning due to incorrect com-
missioning!
Initial commissioning of a newly installed
system may only be carried out by a heating
specialist. A full installation inspection must
be completed prior to start-up.
