FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPLE OF THE HEATING SYSTEM
3
Radiator, underoor hea-
ting
Releases the heat of the heating water into the room.
4
Heating pump Transports the heating water from the boiler to the radi-
ators and back into the boiler, where it is reheated.
Heating pipes Transport the heat which is generated (heating water)
from the boiler to the radiators.
5
Mixing valve Adjusts the heating ow temperature by mixing in col-
der heating return water (water owing to the radiator)
to maintain the desired room temperature, independent
of the outside temperature.
6
Pressure gauge Displays the water pressure in the heating system.
Air vent Ensures that the heating pipes contain only heating wa-
ter and no air.
Safety valve Prevents overpressure in the system.
Diaphragm pressure ex-
pansion tank
Maintains the pressure in the system at a constant level
and absorbs the expansion water.
