This softkey (Option 002 only) lets you display the frequency
deviation produced by the externally-generated frequency
modulation.

Description
This
hardkey
allows access to the modulation functions. The
following types of modulation are available:
AM Amplitude modulation is accepted from an external
source at the AM connector. The AM can be scaled
either linearly or exponentially. Synthesizers with
Option 002 also have the capability of internally
synthesizing amplitude modulation in sine, square,
triangle, ramp, or noise waveforms. Deep AM
(a distortion reduction mode) can be selected for
use when operating at a deep amplitude modulation
level.

Operating and Programming Reference
Frequency modulation is accepted from an external
source at the FM connector. The FM can be either
AC-or DC-coupled. Synthesizers with Option 002
also have the capability of internally synthesizing
frequency modulation in sine, square, triangle, ramp,
or noise waveforms.
