This section describes how to use IPv6 MBGP route attributes to affect IPv6 MBGP route selection. IPv6
MBGP route attributes involve the following:
• IPv6 MBGP protocol preference
• Default LOCAL_PREF attribute
• MED attribute
• NEXT_HOP attribute
• AS_PATH attribute
