6. Select Product ID.
The following warning appears:
Warning: The Product ID should ONLY be modified by qualified service
personnel. This value should always match the Product ID located on the
chassis.
7. Enter the product ID and press the Enter key.
8. To confirm exiting System Utilities, press the F10 key.
The server automatically reboots.
Removing and replacing the chassis intrusion detection switch
Procedure
1. If installed, remove the front bezel.
2. Power down the server.
3.
Remove all power:
a.
Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b.
Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4.
Do one of the following:
•
Extend the server from the rack.
•
Remove the server from the rack.
5.
Remove the access panel.
6.
Disconnect the chassis intrusion detection switch cable from the system board.
7.
Remove the chassis intrusion detection switch.
a.
Release the cable from the left DIMM guard.
b.
Detach the switch from the left DIMM guard.
