Procedure
1. If installed, remove the bezel.
2. Power down the server.
3. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Do one of the following:
•
Extend the server from the rack.
• Remove the server from the rack.
5.
Remove the access panel.
6. Disconnect the following cables from system board:
• Front I/O cable
• iLO service port cable
• USB 30 cable
7.
Release all front I/O assembly cables from clips.
8.
Remove the front I/O assembly.
a.
Detach the ambient thermal sensor cable from its clip.
b.
Remove one T-10 screw
c.
Remove the front I/O assembly
9. Remove the USB 30 cable assembly.
