3. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Do one of the following:
•
Extend the server from the rack.
• Remove the server from the rack.
5. Remove the access panel.
6. Locate the battery on the system board.
7. Remove the battery.
8.
Insert the battery with the "+" side facing up on the socket, and then press the battery down to secure it in place.
9. Install the access panel.
10.
Install the server into the rack.
11. Connect all peripheral cables to the server.
12. Connect each power cord to the server.
