Verification of Upgrade Installation
After completing the upgrade, verify that the sever is ready for operation as follows:
Step 1. Reconnect AC power to rear panel connectors.
Step 2. Press the front panel power switch to power on the server.
Step 3. Wait for completion of the power-on-self-test. Verify that no errors have been detected.
Step 4. At the EFI/OS selection, select the EFI shell and enter the Info Sys command. Verify that all
installed disk drives are recognized and operating correctly.
Step 5. Initiate the OS and monitor operation. Check for error messages. Check the System Event Log for
erroneous system events
