LDKC is an acronym for logical disk controller, and it also may be called logical DKC. LDKC is a
controller that controls a logical storage system that exists in P9500. In the Cnt Ac-J window, the
term “LDKC” indicates a logical storage system.

• DKC shows information about the remote storage systems and the logical paths.
• Port shows information about ports on the local storage system.
Display
Shows either of the following, depending on the selection in Display.
• Remote storage systems.
• Channel adapters on the local storage system and port attributes.
Tree
Shows information about one of the following, depending on what is selected in Display and
Tree:
• Remote storage systems. See “Remote Systems Information ” (page 176).
• Logical paths. See “Logical Path Information” (page 177).
• Ports on the local storage system. See “Port Information for the local system” (page 178).
List
Shows changes made in the window before they are applied to the system. You can modify
or delete by right-clicking on an item. When the information is correct, click Apply.

Indicates the operation in progress in the DKC Operation window.Operation
Remote Systems Information
The list area on the DKC Operation window shows information about the remote system when you
select DKC in the Display box and the LDKC in the tree.
