IMPORTANT:
The HPE StoreOnce 3500 Series and HPE StoreOnce 5100 System may have a PCIe 10GbE
Network or Fibre Channel card in slot 1. Verify that this card has not been dislodged.
6. Replace the PCIe riser cage and the server cover, as described in the appropriate HP ProLiant
Maintenance and Service guide.
7. Reconnect all external cables.
8. Power on the HPE StoreOnce System
9. Once rebooted, the HPE StoreOnce System will identify the new RAID controller and will remap the
existing disk storage volumes and enclosures to the controller. It will take 5 to 10 minutes for the process
to complete. During this time, the product will be online but several warning events will be generated and
the GUI Hardware and Events pages will show errors being reported and cleared.
10. Verify the firmware and upgrade, if necessary.
