2. Press the lower part of the smart ETH gateway to clamp the smart ETH gateway onto the
guide rail.
3. Shake the smart ETH gateway in different directions to ensure that it is reliably installed.
Step 3 Connect the smart ETH gateway ground cable to the ground point on the M-shaped cable
trough, as shown in Figure 3-188.

3.11.10 Installing an AI/DI Module
If an AI/DI module is required, perform the following steps to install it.
Context
You are advised to deploy an AI/DI module at the 42 U position on the rear top of the IT
cabinet adjacent to the Converged Cabinet.

Procedure
Step 1 Determine the mounting holes for the AI/DI module based on the IT cabinet layout. Engage
floating nuts into appropriate mounting holes in the rack rail of the cabinet using a floating
nut mounting bar. Install two floating nuts on each side.
If no floating nut mounting bar is available, using a flat-head screwdriver instead.
Ensure that the floating nuts on both sides are on the same horizontal line.

Step 2 Install the AI/DI module at the appropriate position in the IT cabinet.
