Step 3 Install a new door status sensor, and reconnect the cables.
Step 4 Check that the new door status sensor is working properly.
Open the door and check whether the management system reports an alarm indicating that the door was
opened. If yes, the door status sensor is working properly.

Follow-up Procedure
Dispose of the removed door status sensor that is confirmed faulty.
5.3.5 Replacing a GSM Modem
Prerequisites
A GSM modem needs to be replaced.
A spare GSM modem of the same model is available and functional.
Impact on the System
The operation of the monitoring system or devices connected to the monitoring server may be
interrupted.
Preparations
Tools: Phillips screwdriver, small-sized flat-head screwdriver, ESD gloves
Material: spare GSM modem
Documents required: documents delivered with the GSM modem, initial configuration
parameters for the management system, monitoring device layout diagram
Skill requirement: weak-current engineer
