5.4.5 Replacing a Fire Alarm Bell
Prerequisites
A fire alarm bell is faulty.
A spare fire alarm bell of the same model is available and functional.
Impact on the System

Preparations
Tools: needle-nose pliers, insulation tape, protective gloves, step ladder
Materials: crimp terminals, spare fire alarm bell
Documents required: fire extinguishing device layout diagram
Skill requirement: fire extinguishing engineer

Procedure
Step 1 Push the fire alarm bell out of the base, as shown in Figure 5-45.

Step 2 Cut off the power cable of the fire alarm bell, as shown in Figure 5-46.
