5.7.4 Adjusting the parallelism of the
cutting deck
1. Remove the front cover and the right fender.
2. Remove the screws that hold the belt shield and
lift o the belt shield.
3. Loosen the nuts on the lift strut.
4. Turn the lift strut to extend or shorten the stay.
Extend the stay to lift the rear edge of the cover.
Shorten the stay to lower the rear edge of the
cover.
5. Tighten the nuts on the lift strut when the
adjustment is done.
6. Attach the belt shield and tighten the screws.
7. Attach the right fender and the front cover.
NOTE: A new parallelism and cutting height ad-
justment must be done when the cutting deck is
changed.

5.7.6 Adjusting the cutting height range
1. Remove the left side cover.
2. Raise or lower the whole cutting deck by
screwing the nuts up and down. Adjust so that the
distance between ground and the edge of the
cutting deck at the front cover is 25 mm.
3. Tighten the nut.
4. Check that the parallelism has not changed. If
this is the case, the parallelism must be
readjusted.
5. Check and if necessary adjust the ground
pressure of the cutting deck.
