5.8 Belts
5.8.1 Replacing the rear drive belt
Removal
1. Lift up the cutting deck.
2. Remove the transmssion cover.
3. Unhook the spring on the belt tensioner.
4. Remove the hose holder in the middle and the
belt guide for the centre belt.
5. Pull o the centre belt from the engine pulley and
pull out the rear section.
6. Remove the cooling fan. It is held in place by a
nut.
7. Remove the belt from the hydrostatic transmssion
pulley.
8. Pull the belt o the engine pulley and move it
under the engine belt pulley.
9. Pull out the belt through the opening under the
pivot beraring and past the belt tensioner disk.
