5.9.4 To remove blockage from the auger
If the symbol on the auger button is red and the
product beeps continuously, the auger is blocked. The
blockage must be manually removed.
1. Tilt the collector.
2. Pull the auger maintenance tool loose from the
bottom of the collector.
3. Put the auger maintenance tool into the hole at
the top part of the auger.

4. Hold the auger maintenance tool and turn the
auger counterclockwise 5 full turns. The cause of
the blockage is sent down and out of the auger.
5. Pull the auger maintenance tool out and put it
back into the holder on the bottom of the collector.
6. Lower the collector to operating position and start
the engine.
7. If the symbol on the auger button is red and the
product beeps when the engine starts, stop the
engine.
8. Put the cutting deck in servicing position and
manually remove blockage from the auger inlet.
9. Put the cutting deck in mowing position and start
the engine.
10. If the symbol on the auger button is red and the
product beeps when the engine starts, stop the
engine. Remove the auger and remove what
blocks the screw.
NOTE: When the blockage is removed, the
product starts in non-collect mode and you must
select collect mode again.
