Push [V/MHz] q to select
the VFO mode.
Rotate [DIAL] to set a fre- w
quency to 146.030 MHz.
The Memory mode is useful to quickly select often-used re-
peaters.
This section describes the basic channel programming.
See the Advanced Instructions for details.
Example: Programming 146.030 MHz into memory channel
11 (a blank channel).
Rotate [DIAL] to select the r
channel 11.

to program into a call chan-
nel, VFO to program into VFO
or scan edge channels (0A/0B
to 24A/24B) to program into a
scan channel.
Hold down [S.MW] e for
1 second to enter the Select
Memory write mode.

blinks, and memory contents
are displayed.
Hold down
for 1 sec.
Holddown[S.MW] t for 1
second to program, and then
return to the VFO mode.
