4. Also do the same to the external threads of the
sleeves and screw them immediately into the
distributor.
5. Then glue 4 new quick release couplings with Loctite
574 "orange".
In case of older models, it may happen that one of the four
quick release couplings has a different design.
It had a larger socket thread and was screwed directly into
the "front distributor". However, this can cause air leakage
and therefore this old design needs to be replaced by the
new one.
A reducing sleeve (045 01 101) has to be simply screwed
into the distributor and then you can continue working
with the quick release coupling (022 06 113).
1. To be able to unscrew the old quick release coupling
better, it can be heated with the hot air gun.
2. Remove the quick-release coupling.
Caution
If the camera cable is still mounted, it can be
damaged by excessive heat.
Caution
Loctite 574 with activator dries in approx. 5 min.
