Keypad shortcut and icon
The Prime provides two programming sections to edit the shortcut icons that appear on the
keypad display in correspondence to keys

F12
.
The basic icons and association with the shortcuts at default are shown in the table in
Appendix A, Default programming
.

Icons
Via software
Click-on the
Icon
button on the menu on the left, the "Programming" section on the right will
provide a grid with all the 80 icons available. Of these the last 30 are "empty" icons, that is
without any design.
Selecting one of these icons opens a page where it is possible to edit:
•
Description
, the descriptive string associated with the icon.
• You can change the design of the icon by means of digital graphic tools.

Click-on the
Association shortcut-icon
button on the menu on the left, the "Programming"
section on the right will provide a grid with all the 38 available shortcuts and their associated
icons.
The selection of one of these icons opens a section in the lower part of the screen showing all
the 80 icons and their descriptions. Clicking-on any one of these associates it with the
selected shortcut.
Via keypad
1. Accessing the “Shortcuts” section:

2. Use keys and to select the shortcut then press
OK
.
Set the parameters:

Description
- this is the descriptive string of the shortcut which can be customized by the
installer.
•
Icon
- this section allows you to select the icon you want to associate with the shortcut, by
indicating the icon number
3. Use keys and to scroll across the digits of the number.
4. Use the number keys to edit the number.
5. Press
OK
to confirm the operation and exit.
