· The Exynos 9810 CPU on Galaxy S9/S9+ and Galaxy Note 9 doesn’t use standard CPU architecture. The
performance of Exynos 9810 is not stable enough to support the playback of 8K video. Problems such as
video lag and fragments may occur. Therefore, it’s not recommended to play 8K video on devices using
an Exynos 9810 CPU, however, 6K video is supported.

· Oculus Go uses a Snapdragon 821 CPU. Its performance is not stable enough to support the playback of
8K video. Oculus Go gets hot while playing 8K video, which may cause issues such as video lag and
fragmenting. Therefore, it’s not recommended to play 8K video on the Oculus Go, but it can be used to
play 6K video.
3.4.3 [Beginner] Introduction to other players (Gopro VR
Player & PotPlayer)
Since Insta360 Player has resolution limits, it can only play general panorama video of H264 encoding below 4K. If
panoramic video is exported to be other formats, other players need to be used to play. Currently, desktop player of
Gopro Player PotPlayer and PotPlayer support panoramic video well.
Gopro VR Player supports OS X and Windows.
