Processor
I nt el Deskt op Board D2550DC2 includes a passively-cooled, dual- core I nt el At om
processor with integrat ed graphics and m em ory controller. The processor is soldered
to t he Deskt op Board and is not cust om er upgradeable.
NOTE
The board is designed t o be passively cooled in a pr operly ventilat ed chassis. Chassis
venting locat ions ar e recom m ended abov e the processor heat sink area for m axim um
heat dissipation effectiveness.

SDRAM m em ory specificat ions, t he
board should be populat ed wit h DI MMs that support t he Serial Presence Det ect (SPD)
dat a structure. I f your m em ory m odules do not support SPD, you will see a
not ificat ion t o this effect on the screen at pow er up. The BI OS will att em pt to
configur e the m em ory cont roller for norm al operat ion.
The Desktop Board has two 204-pin DDR3 SO- DI MM socket s with gold- plat ed contact s.
These socket s support :
• Support for DDR3 1066/ 1333/ 1600 MHz SO- DI MMs (DDR3 1333 MHz and
DDR3 1600 MHz SO- DI MMs operate at 1066 MHz only)
• Serial Presence Det ect ( SPD) m em ory only
• Non- ECC m em ory
• Up t o 4 GB of m em ory
