I nst ant ly Available PC t echnology enables the board t o enter t he ACPI S3 ( Suspend- t o-
RAM) sleep-state. While in t he ACPI S3 sleep- st ate, t he com put er will appear t o be off
( t he hard drive( s) and fan will power off, the front panel power LED will blink). When
signaled by a wake- up device or event, t he system quickly ret urns t o its last known
st at e.
The board supports t he PCI Bus Power Managem ent I nt er face Specificat ion. Add- in
boards t hat also support this specification can participate in power m anagem ent and
can be used t o wake t he com puter.
