BIOS Front-panel Power LED Blink Codes
The BI OS also blinks t he front- panel pow er LED to signal st at us m essages and error
m essages indicating cer t ain recov erable errors that occur during the POST. The blink
codes ar e list ed in Table 15.

POST Error Messages
The BI OS also displays error m essages on the video m onit or when cert ain recov erable
errors occur during the POST. Table 16 list s t he er ror m essages w it h a brief
description of each.

CMOS Bat t er y Low The bat tery m ay be losing power.
CMOS Checksum Bad The CMOS checksum is incorrect . The CMOS m em ory
m ay have been corrupt ed. Run Set up to reset values.
Mem ory Size Decreased
Mem ory size has decr eased since the last boot . I f no
m em ory was rem oved, then m em ory may be bad.
No Boot Device Available
Syst em did not find a device t o boot .
